@nobodywasishere joins the team

Hello, Crystal community!

I’m happy to announce that Margret Riegert (@nobodywasishere) has joined the Ameba team.

Many of you already know Margret from her work across the Crystal ecosystem. She has been an active contributor in the community for years (Core Team member since May 2025), improving developer tooling and the overall experience of working with Crystal.

Her contributions to Ameba are already substantial — she created Ameba Language Server, implemented several rules, and has been working to bring semantic analysis into the linter — a promising direction for the project.

Beyond Ameba, she is the creator of crystaldoc.info, a public service that generates and hosts API documentation for Crystal shards. She also works on the tree-sitter grammar, Zed editor extension for Crystal, and is the author of larimar — Language Server framework for Crystal.

This kind of hands-on, ecosystem-focused work is exactly what makes Margret a great fit for the team, and that’s why I’m so excited to have her on board. Her experience and drive will be a big help as we continue making Ameba a better tool for the community.
